February 3rd ‘A Year in my Vegetable Garden’
Talk by John Morgan,

March 3rd ‘The De Beauvoir Gardeners  AGM ’
followed by a good-humoured quiz!

April 7th ‘The RHS Gardens at Wisley and Hyde Hall’
Talk by Allan Sawyer. This will be a preliminary introduction to a possible visit, with free admission, to one of these gardens later in the year if there is sufficient interest. Allan is ex-RHS Regional Development Department, with responsibility for the RHS shows at Vincent Sq and Chelsea 1975-1987.

May 5th ‘City of London Open Spaces: The Square Mile and Beyond’
Talk by Don Lawson, Superintendent of Parks and City Gardens

June 2rd ‘Pests, Predators and Garden Problems’
Talk by Hilary Newman, ex-Edinburgh Botanical Garden and ex-Hadlow College lecturer. Topic chosen by popular demand!

October 6th ‘The Strange and Ingenious Methods Plants use to Disperse their Seeds and Ensure Survival’
Talk by Rob Kesseler, an artist who bridges the divide between art and science.

November 3rd The Devil s Garden
A talk by Russell Bowes,freelance garden historian. Just past All Souls Day, this talk will focus on plants with sinister connotations and associations with banishment, madness, black magic and murder most foul!

December 1st ‘TBC’
Hopefully a Christmassy demonstration courtesy of a stylish florist!
